Review: songs

There are some songs that depending on your mood you should listen to one or another. I will expose two songs, "Hello" from Adele and "On Top of the World" from Imagine Dragons.

"Hello" talks about a girl that broke up with her boyfriend and she feels sorry about it. Now she tries to talk with him again to know how he is although the boy never picks up the phone when she calls.

Meanwhile, "On Top of the World" explains the deepest times you may had been through, but afterwards he is "on top of the world" meaning he is in the best times of his life. He has been dreaming on this since he was a child and now he achieves it. For certain Imagine Dragons's song is the most uplifting one.

To conlcude, before listening to each other take into account your mood. Despite you are feeling drepresed, I recommend you listening "On Top of the World" to uplift yourself, and if you are already feeling happy, you will be better than before.

The importance of taking care cultural heritages

We often hear that is a priority for governments to aim preserving cultural heritage for future generations. While it is true that increasing the founding for museums is a possible solution, it is also necessary to teach the importance of cultural heritage in schools.

Firstly, the governments should increase the founding for museums to preserve the historian material recovered by palaeontologists, historians and archeologists. Museums are sources of vivid information that from my point of view are invaluable. Moreover, a child after visiting a museum from where he lives, feels himself with knowledge of his ancestors and where he come from.

Secondly, and the most important of all, is to teach the importance of cultural heritage in schools. Children should recognise the importance of monuments since they are little and learn how to take care of them, for example not graffitiing them. After all, they need to take into account that the cultural heritage they see nowadays are the ones their sons and older generations will appreciate in the future.

On balance, I believe that governments must aim to preserve cultural heritage by increasing the founding for museums, and  mainly schools must teach the importance of them giving the fact that are the evidence where we come from.

Los seres vivos acuáticos desarrollaron un caliz capaz de percibir la dirección de la cual provenía una fuente de luz.

Se cree que la esclerótica es blanca para saber que hace, piensa o siente el otro. Los perros y los humanos comparten la esclerótica blanca. Es probable que como los perros conviven con los seres humanos desde hace mucho tiempo, se produjo una evolución paralela por la relación social existente.

El sabor es el conjunto del gusto y el olfato, que nos permite a diferenciar entre alimentos sanos y peligrosos. Al sentir el sabor salado o dulce de los alimentos podemos decir que se encuentra en buen estado. Mientras que el amargo y el ácido ocurre cuando hay actividad bacterial característico de alimentos en mal estado o dañinos

Para olerte mejor

La nariz despegada del rostro le permitió al Homo erectus una mayor entrada de aire tanto cálido como húmedo. Ademas de su valoración estética característica del ser humano por ser un animal social.

Harry Potter review

When I was a child I saw one of the best movies in my life till today. Harry Potter and the Philosopher stone is an absolutely riveting story about a boy with magical powers who lives with his non-wizards uncle and aunt, often called Muggles. His biological family hates him but suddenly he is invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to change his life.

In the magical World we get to know a poignant story life. Harry's parents were murdered by a powerful wizard called Voldemort who is oftenly call "he who must not be named". For our surprise, Harry is the only one who survived an attack from Voldemort and the wizarding world know him as a living myth, "the one who lived".

Benefits of training students to think positively

During the week, students fell that their time is not enough to make tasks, either they are homework from school or extra activities, for example training sports or playing the guitar. Thinking positively is a solution to organise your daily life. The benefits are the improvement of productivity and also increment of creativity.

If students from primary school are taught to think positively, they will improve their productivity since they are little. Empowering the work made in less time can help them to reduce the time needed for studying and practising. Moreover, productivity is not only apply at school, they can apply it in housework giving a hand to their parents.

While it is true that improving productivity is useful, from my point of view the most important benefit about thinking positively is the increase of creativity. Teaching students how to find different ways in which they can solve a problem through creativity will facilitate an answer to face it. However, creativity is not just for solving problems, is also helps teenagers break the ice between unknowns and make new friends.

Taking everything into consideration, there are many good arguments for training students to think positively. They can benefit themselves in improving productivity and increasing creativity. That is why I think that teaching students to think positively is a very useful tool for life.

Feelings towards older people


The principal objective of this report is to provide a description of the importance of how young people of my community feel about older people. There are several ways in which young people might treat the older ones. They may respect and admire them or either they are disrespectful and arrogant.

The information was obtained in an online questionnaire. Based on it, we can say that generally young people are respectful and conscious towards older people. They think they are a source of information and that their experience makes them precious and important. Giving the fact they lived almost a century, their knowledge is enormous and it is natural the mental and corporal fatigue.

On the other hand, some young people think that they are too old and so they can not do nothing. They do not take into account that older people have 7 times lived their age. The most severe ones are arrogant and disrespectful towards older people and they do not realise they could be their own grandparents. Fortunately they are the minority of the community.

I would therefore recommend parents give more importance the teaching of values and respect towards their elders. Mainly when they are children and they do not prejudge, because it will be more difficult when they grow up and they feel superior.

En la publicidad de Lifebuoy se dice que "un germen común puede volverse evolucionado". Ademas de que este concepto es erroneo, los niños al ver estas publicidades se las acuerdan y repiten conceptos mal explicados. En realidad no evoluciona un germen, sino que la población de germenes es la que evoluciona y los individuos son los que heredan los genes que son resistentes al jabón común. Por lo tanto, los que sobreviven al jabon serán los que se reproduciran y lograran una poblacion resistente a este.

Hi Fran!

I’m glad you wrote to me, how are you doing? Someone very well known in my country and all around the world is Lionel Messi, the best football player, from my point of view. Nowadays, he’s famous because he plays in Barcelona Football Club, and he’s the captain of the Argentinian football team.

As we’re used to calling him “Leo”, is the only person in the world to win 5 Golden Balls and 4 were consecutive. Moreover, with Barcelona FC he won 30 titles, 8 in “La Liga”, 4 in “The UEFFA” and 5 in “Copa Del Rey”. He has the record for more goals scored in one year in “La Liga”, “La “Supercopa de España”, “el Mundial de Clubes” and “La Supercopa de Europa”.

Despite the fact that in Argentina some people don’t like him and compare him with Diego Maradona, another football player, he’s still a well-known player and the best for the majority of the country. Leo is also a lovely person even though some journalists talk nonsense about him because he went outside Argentina to play to Spain.

Is it better to shop in small local shops or big supermarkets?

In the town center of any city, there are different kinds of shops, you may go shopping to small shops or big supermarkets. The difference between one and other varies in the goods availably, the price and the employees’ attitudes.

To start with, the goods available in the local shops are limited. The products are scarce and may not have that one product you like. In contrast, the selection of goods available in big supermarkets are more varied, the amount of different products is wider than in local shops.

Secondly, the prices in local shops are higher and do not vary too much due to the limitation of products. On the other hand, the prices in big supermarkets between the same products but different brands may vary and find cheaper prices than in local shops.

Finally, the employees in big supermarkets may be ungrateful due to the amount of people who shop every day. But in local shops, employees’ attitudes may be more familiar and lovely due to the contact between people and employees.

To conclude, it is better to shop in big supermarkets because of the advantages of the goods available and the prices you could find despite the fact that local shops may treat you better

Improving workplace communication

Introduction

The principal objective of this proposal is to solve the problems of communication the Staff Department has. Every time we try to communicate some news, the majority does not get to know and afterwards there are problems in the execution.

Current problem

Talking with some members of the Staff Training and Development Department we get to the conclusion that is inefficient the use of emails. Despite that they are quick and easy in many cases it is inefficient, because day by day we receive a large amount of emails we do not even have a look at and the important ones may be pass by accident.

Recommendations

Due to the lack of efficiency I recommend to follow these steps:

•  No more emails will we send to inform something.

• In contrasts, a board will we set up in the lobby of the Department so whenever a meeting should we arranged it must be written there.

•  A group of Whatsapp will we form, in which ALL the Staff Training and Development Department must be inside it. It will just be used to inform about meetings, news, etc.

• If someone cannot assist to the meetings MUST inform the boss in his section.

If the recommendations are implemented, the communication between the Staff Training and Development Department should be better.

Las variaciones de una población

Las especies de una población están contenidas por individuos, que pueden reproducirse y dejar descendencia fértil. Las características que definen a un individuo (fenotipo) dependen de la descendencia de los cromosomas de padre y madre, que se encuentran en una parte de la cadena de ADN. Está, está formada por cadenas de nucleótidos que contienen la información de un gen, que le indica a las células de un organismo las funciones que debe cumplir y la fabricación de proteínas. La información de un gen es dada por los homocigotos y los heterocigotos.

Los homocigotos dominantes ocurren cuando ambos alelos contienen la misma característica dominante `BB` (representa con letra mayúscula) o homocigotos recesivos si ambos alelos son recesivos `bb` (representado con letra minúscula) o también pueden ser heterocigotos los cuales contienen un alelo dominante y recesivo `Bb`.

En una población se puede analizar la poza genética, que se define como la suma de todos los genes de una población, y determinar los cambios de las características que sufren a lo largo del tiempo. Para entender la evolución de una especie se observa la poza genética y los cambios en las frecuencias de los alelos que derivan en las diferentes características.
