Review: Game of Thrones

One series that catch me a lot and from my point of view, is the best series ever created, is Game of Thrones. Is a novel written by George R. R. Martin, which was transform into HBO n°1 series since 2011 when released. I will talk about costumes and scenography, and how the story gives unimaginable twists of screw.

As the name says, there is a conflict between different houses to obtain the Iron Throne, situated in Westeros, the capital city. The main houses are: Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark and Lannister. Each one has its own characteristics and cultures, without mentioning the rest remainig all around Martin's world.

Costumes are one of the main aspects that highlights this series from others. They are very well reach and detailed, every character has its own original clothes and the effort made in scenography is appreciated. The different kinds of environments make the serie attractive and entertaining.

The director has succeeded in changing the story dramatically, you never know what will happened next. He is an expert in killing your favourite characters, so I recommend you not getting in love with them. Moreover, the ending of the chapters are always intriguing, and you will want to see more.

I would strongly encourage you not to miss this amazing series full of emotions and empathise. The use of extraordinary costumes and scenography, plus the unpredictable plot, make Game of Thrones a must to watch.
